Welcome!

The Tampa Organization of Black Affairs (TOBA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to political education, economic development and youth development within the African American and general community. The organization’s goals are to:

  • Promote minority/African American economic development by supporting increased black business ownership, increased opportunities for advancement in the workplace, and increased awareness by the African American consumer.

  • Promote political education, voter registration, and
    voter participation.

  • Promote youth development and encouraging and supporting academic achievement.

  • Encourage minority individuals to seek elected and appointed public positions.
